Here is my cool weather bed next to the house. I built it yesterday and it took about 4 hours to prepare the bed and about 5 minutes to plant a row of lettuce. I will stagger the lettuce planting so we have an ongoing supply. Today I will start the full sun bed over near the back corner of the yard.
So welcome to our home...the first thing you see as you approach the door is a mat that reads GO AWAY...ha ha ha. There is the view from the street.
Next is the front porch which my mom (Donna) built on her own a couple years ago. Its a nice little sitting area and there are strawberries growing under the benches and a whole lotta fennel in the front bed. Smells really good. The other photo is the back of the house.
Next is the view from the back sliding door. There is a little shed that we keep lawn and garden supplies and bird seed. There is also a little playhouse.
This is the basement. The main room has recently been converted from our office to a spare bedroom/sitting room. There is a toy and kids computer area too. Nolans room is at the back. No pics as it was far too disasterous today. It is still a work in progress. Trying to find places for everything.

Here are some shots from last year when the kids where here in June. A view down the cul-de-sac and the front of the house and toward the street. This was the kids birthday party.
